2018 Toyota Camry Gets Sleeker, Sportier

2018 Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry has held the bestselling midsize sedan title for most of the 21st century and the automaker is ready to unleash its latest creation. The 2018 Toyota Camry was caught in the field undergoing testing. The new model marks the launch of the next generation and, if the spy photos are anything to go by, it’s sportier than ever!

The 2018 Camry made its official debut this past January at the Detroit Auto Show as well.

Spy photos show the new Camry in camouflage without any extra paneling. The new model looks sportier with quad tailpipes and black alloy wheels. The car itself will likely boast new aluminum body panels to reduce weight. It will also ride on the new TNGA modular platform.

Potential buyers can expect to see the return of the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed transmission. A hybrid model is also likely to join the lineup. A turbocharged four-cylinder is also expected to join the lineup or replace the optional V6 engine altogether.

Here at Lancaster Toyota, we can’t wait to see the next-generation Camry in all of its glory! Check out our current Camry inventory in the meantime!
