The 2015 Toyota Camry has finally arrived. Though it’s not technically an “all-new” model – it’s pretty much all-new. Sharing only the roof panel with its predecessor, the 2015 Camry is ready to flaunt what it’s got – and fittingly, it’s launching an exciting new marketing campaign.
The 2015 Camry campaign will be the first under Toyota’s new T2 market model, which aims to unify the efforts of previously separate media agencies through a more cohesive approach. The campaign, called “One Bold Choice Leads to Another,” takes people from coast to coast to places they’ve never been before, challenging viewers to live inspired lives.
“The campaign centers on a pivotal message: One bold choice leads to another,” said Jason Schragger, who is leading the T2 creative process, in a recent news release. “Through our research, we know buying a car today means buying the label that goes along with it. The boldness of the Camry’s new redesign communicates an unexpected, emotional thrill, and we wanted to capture that spirit of imagination and zest for life while connecting with consumers in meaningful and relevant ways.”
The campaign will feature six broadcast spots and print, radio, and digital ads, as well as social campaigns and live events. Two of the commercial spots have already been released: “Bride Breakout” and “Guitar”. We happen to think “Guitar” is pretty spot-on, thanks to B.B. King, who lends his smooth sounds to the ad. The Camry just got way cooler.
