Toyota Teams Up with Cincinnati Children’s to Launch Buckle Up for Life

Buckle Up for Life promotes proper use of car seats

As part of Buckle Up for Life, Toyota wants to teach all parents how to properly use car seats to keep their little ones safe.

It’s not just about buckling our seat belts and using car seats, it’s about doing all of these things properly! That’s why Toyota teamed up with Cincinnati Children’s to introduce the Buckle Up for Life program.

Unfortunately, 75% of car seats in this country aren’t used correctly. And to help tackle this problem, the Buckle Up for Life program is being launched in North Texas. Both Toyota and Cincinnati Children’s teamed up with North Texas’s Children’s Health to bring this six-week program to the area. It uses specialists trained in car seats, who help educate participants on how to properly use car seats, booster seats, and seat belts.

“One of our deepest priorities is helping people get to their destinations safely. We know Buckle Up For Life helps protect kids and we are excited to share it with families in our new hometown of Plano and in North Texas,” said Mike Goss, General Manager of Social Innovation, Toyota Motor North America.

It’s easy to think you’re doing everything right, especially when you’re intentions are there! But everyone can learn something about buckling up. Check it out at www.buckleupforlife.org.
